French Delft Blue Porcelain Mantel Clock Garniture 5-Piece Set - 1850-1900 - For Restoration - With Key
Complete French mantel clock garniture set in authentic Delft blue porcelain with gilt brass/bronze mounts, circa 1850-1900. Consists of 5 matching pieces: central mantel clock, two 5-light candelabra and two small candlesticks.
The mantel clock features a mechanical 1-day movement. Clock has not been operated for a long time and requires professional service and cleaning by a horologist. The front glass has a crack and will need replacement, however the glass can be changed. Dial with Roman numerals, gilt bronze frame with winged dragon handles and winged dragon finial on top. Delft porcelain body hand-painted with traditional blue and white floral and bird motifs.
The two large candelabra are 5-arm each with twisted brass columns and matching Delft porcelain bases with brass drip pans. The two small candlesticks complete the garniture with identical Delft pattern and mounts. All pieces retain consistent decoration throughout.
Original clock key included. A complete decorative ensemble ideal for restoration project, display, or for parts. Garniture sets of 5 matching pieces are increasingly rare to find.
