Offered here is a pair of vintage Japanese Yanagiba knives, both bearing maker's inscriptions and representing the traditional craftsmanship of Japanese kitchen cutlery.

The knife on the left is signed “Registered Teruhide” (登録照秀作), while the knife on the right bears the inscription “Sakai Takemori” (堺武守). The right-hand knife still retains a Sakai Hamono (Sakai Cutlery) label on the ferrule, indicating its connection to the renowned knife-making tradition of Sakai, Japan.

These knives feature the classic long, narrow Yanagiba profile, traditionally used for slicing sashimi and preparing fish with precision.
