This is a beautiful hand-forged santoku knife from an artisanal knife maker. The knife has a classic santoku profile with a broad, elegant blade and a finely tapering tip — ideal for both chopping and slicing.

The handle is made from poplar burl, a wood known for its exceptional grain pattern. Each piece is unique, and this specimen shows stunning swirls and flame patterns in warm brown and amber wood, finished with a dark end cap. It gives the knife a rustic, artisanal character that is also visually distinctive.

The blade bears the marks of use — a patina that belongs to a well-crafted carbon steel hand-forged knife. It is sharp and ready to use. Total length: 30 cm.
