Description from the seller
Magnificent oval enamelled cast iron Dutch oven Le Creuset, made in France, in a superb apple-green gradient shade that is particularly sought after.
Its exterior enamel has a beautiful gloss, and its bright color adds a vintage and elegant touch to any kitchen.
The interior with light cream enamel is in excellent condition, with a smooth, glossy surface and very little signs of use. The Dutch oven has clearly been carefully cared for.
To note only: a small enamel chip on the inner edge of the lid. It remains very discreet, hardly visible to the naked eye and practically imperceptible in photographs. It does not affect either the overall aesthetics of the piece or its use.
Dimensions
Length with handles: 34.7 cm
Interior length: 27 cm
Width: 21.5 cm
Height without lid: 10.5 cm
Total height with lid: 14.5 cm
Weight: 6.5 kg
About Le Creuset
Founded in 1925 in northern France, Le Creuset has become one of the global references in high-end enamelled cast iron. The brand celebrates its centenary in 2025, a century of artisanal know-how and culinary innovation.
Each Le Creuset cocotte is cast individually in a unique mold and then enameled using a demanding process that has earned the French house its international reputation. Old pieces and vintage colors are now of growing interest to collectors and lovers of fine culinary objects.
Le Creuset enamelled cast iron is renowned for:
its exceptional ability to store and diffuse heat;
even and gentle cooking;
excellent temperature retention;
robustness and remarkable longevity;
its compatibility with most heat sources, including the oven.
Designed to last through generations, these cocottes are not only high-performing cooking tools but also true culinary heritage objects.
Condition
Very good overall condition. Interior enamel is bright and sound. Exterior enamel presents a superb appearance. Small discreet chip on the inner rim of the lid, with no impact on use.
A beautiful French Le Creuset piece, at once decorative, functional, and emblematic of the brand’s centennial.
Careful and protective shipping
