Magnificent hexagonal bonbonnière/ lid box from the famous French earthenware factory Émaux de Longwy.
The piece is entirely hand-decorated in the characteristic cloisonné enamel technique, with a rich botanical design in blue, green, yellow, pink and red on a turquoise background.
The underside bears the original factory mark “Décoré à la Main – Emaux de Longwy – France” and the model and decor designation 3093 / 9669.
This decorative collectible is a fine example of the craftsmanship for which Longwy is internationally renowned.
