A working Fujica Compact 35 — a beautifully made Japanese 35mm compact camera from the late 1960s, fitted with the highly regarded Fujinon (4-element) 3.8cm f/2.8 fixed lens and a Seiko leaf shutter. Manufactured by Fuji Photo Film Co. and introduced around 1968, the Compact 35 features programmed automatic exposure driven by a built-in selenium photoelectric cell, zone-focus system, and a clever in-finder display showing the camera's auto-selected aperture and shutter speed. A true mechanical classic that requires NO BATTERY whatsoever and is ready to load with film and shoot today.

Appearance:
Vintage cosmetic wear consistent with age. The chrome top plate shows light age spots / patina; the leatherette body covering is intact with no peeling. The viewfinder window and selenium-cell window (next to the viewfinder) are clear. No major dents or serious damage.

Function:
35mm compact camera with Seiko leaf shutter (B, 1/30 s – 1/250 s), programmed automatic exposure driven by a selenium photoelectric cell, Fujinon 3.8cm f/2.8 lens, zone-focus system (landscape / group / portrait icons), bright viewfinder with in-finder exposure display, hot shoe / cold accessory shoe, mechanical self-timer, and ASA/DIN setting dial on the back.
