Silver half Decimo coin minted at the Birmingham mint for the Republic of Ecuador, with a profile portrait of an allegorical female figure on the obverse, executed in a classical and elegant style, surrounded by the national legend and the date. The reverse features the face value within an ornamental wreath, accompanied by the republican motto “EL PODER EN LA CONSTITUCION”, carrying strong institutional and political significance for the era. The specimen stands out for its outstanding state of preservation, with fully defined reliefs, intense satin luster and very clean fields, scarcely interrupted by minor microscopic marks consistent with the MS66 grade. The surface maintains an attractive uniform silvery appearance and great visual freshness, representing an excellent example of early 20th-century Ecuadorian coinage minted in England.
