Description from the seller

BULGARIA. 50 Leva. 1940. Boris III (1918-1943)

- Value: 50 Leva.
- Reign: Boris III (1918-1943).
- Year: 1940.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЬ НА БЪЛГАРИТЕ, bust of the king to the left, engraver’s signature A. BERAN on the neck. Reverse: 50 ЛЕВА · 1940, encircled by a crown of ears, oak leaves and roses tied together at the bottom with a ribbon.
- Grading: MS62 (NGC).

50 Leva coin with a mature portrait of King Boris III facing left, in a realist and sober style, with good facial modeling and finely treated hair. The reverse features a balanced and detailed vegetal design, combining ears of wheat, oak leaves and roses, symbols of prosperity and strength, with the denomination and date clearly centered. The coin shows well-preserved relief, largely clean fields with minor contact marks typical for the grade, and a bright and uniform silver patina that enhances the overall appeal, offering an attractive and solid presence in hand.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
