Description from the seller

RUSSIA. 10 Kopeks. 1915. Nicholas II (1894-1917)

- Value: 10 Kopeks.
- Reign: Nicholas II (1894-1917).
- Year: 1915.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: 10 KOPEEKЪ · 1915. Revers e: double-headed imperial eagle crowned with central shield and mint marks.
- Grade: MS66 (PCGS).

Silver 10 Kopek coin minted during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, in the final years of the Russian Empire before the 1917 Revolution. The obverse features the denomination surrounded by a vegetal crown composed of laurel and oak branches joined at the base, crowned by the imperial crown, while the reverse shows the characteristic double-headed imperial eagle with dynastic shields and symbols of power. The engraving maintains the refined heraldic style typical of early 20th-century Russian numismatics, with great richness of detail in feathers, crowns and ornaments. The piece preserves very defined relief and a notable original luster, accompanied by soft grayish tones and light surface marks visible under magnification, compatible with the high grade MS66. A piece of great visual appeal and significant historical value, representative of the twilight of the Russian Tsarist regime.
