The Philips F7430 is a very special turntable from the early 1980s. What makes this model unique is the extendable drawer system (front-loading) in combination with a tangential (linear) tonearm. This allows the turntable to be slid completely dust-free and horizontally into a hi-fi rack while it is playing. The linear arm moves in a straight line across the record, exactly as the groove was originally cut. This minimizes the error angle of the stylus and ensures an extremely pure, distortion-free sound reproduction without inner-groove distortion.

De Philips F7430 is een zeer bijzondere, platenspeler uit het begin van de jaren 80. Wat dit model uniek maakt, is het uitschuifbare ladesysteem (front-loading) in combinatie met een tangentiale (lineaire) toonarm. Hierdoor kan de platenspeler volledig stofvrij en horizontaal in een hifi-rack worden geschoven terwijl hij afspeelt.
