Ad Angen/1971/Japanese/258*265*5
This book is a catalogue of works published on the occasion of the 1972 exhibition ‘Scandal. A collection of catalogue works published on the occasion of the 1972 exhibition ‘Scandal. The previous year's ground-breaking thematic exhibition Nude had been published in a paperback-sized format. was also designed by Katsumi Asaba, but in a large tabloid size to convey the full power of Scandal. Another feature of this year's edition is that it also reflects a strong element of ‘personal photography’ that is not limited to ‘advertising’. The photographers included in this year's edition, many of whom are from the previous year, include Noriaki Kano, Shinpei Asai, Kazumi Kurigami, Kozo Miyoshi, Hideki Fujii, Satoshi Arai, Masaru Taniguchi, Yojiro Adachi and Yoshino Oishi. The collection contains many ‘scandalous’ illustrations that would not be allowed to be photographed today.
