Description from the seller

Beautiful altar bell or carillon with three bells mounted on a herb-shaped bronze frame. The altar bell is a ceremonial object used in churches by the altar servers during the Mass to warn the faithful that the holiest actions of the celebration are about to take place or are currently taking place. Especially in Masses according to the Tridentine Rite, where the priest often prays in silence, it is necessary to ring. Sometimes the altar bell is used instead of the Sanctus bell, but in any case after the consecration of Bread and Wine. One of the little flaps is different from the others.
