Description from the seller
Very decorative butler tray (butlertray). The butler tray has a foldable wrought-iron frame with a zinc tray and two chromed handles (see photos). The zinc tray is firmly clamped into the frame and is loose and removable (see photos). In its assembled state, the height is 80 cm, the width 60 cm (with handles) and 50 cm (without handles) and 36 cm deep. The total weight is about 7.5 kg.
The butler tray probably dates from the 1960s or 1970s of the previous century, but could be younger. This kind of furniture was also made at the end of the previous century. The tray is still 100% stable. However, in many places the grey paint on the frame is worn and there are rust spots visible. All of this looks very decorative. The zinc tray on the bottom is almost like new, but on the top it shows many signs of use. This also looks very decorative (see photos).
This tray could be restored completely to new by sanding away all signs of use and washing, but that would be a pity for the patina!
The furniture can be used as a service tray, but of course also as a side table or plant stand!
The butler tray is carefully packed and insured for shipment.
