The Catawiki auction offers a iconic Rover Mini Classic after a comprehensive restoration. This particular example is the 1300 MPI (Multi-Point Injection) version, which represented the technological pinnacle of the classic Mini before production ended. The introduction of multi-point fuel injection and a radiator mounted at the front (instead of the side) significantly improved reliability, smoothness, and engine cooling efficiency, making this version the most sought-after by enthusiasts of everyday classic driving. The car is powered by a 1,275 cm³ petrol engine with 46 kW (63 HP). According to the documentation, the vehicle is listed as a 1997 model year, and its first registration abroad took place on November 27, 1997. It has an authentic, very low mileage of around 36,000 kilometers (exactly 35,219 km recorded in the report), and its VIN is SAXXNNAZRBD142166. The car boasts complete originality of construction combined with high-quality modern mechanical upgrades.

TECHNICAL CONDITION

The 1.3 MPI engine starts without issue, runs very smoothly and quietly, and the gearbox shifts accurately and properly. During the restoration, no expense was spared on top-quality components, resulting in the car being equipped with new, adjustable GAZ suspension, efficient four-piston MiniSport brakes, and a sport exhaust system by Playmini, which dramatically improve handling and safety. Additionally, a completely new battery was recently installed. All consumables, drive belts, and the clutch are fully functional, and the vehicle requires no current financial outlays or urgent mechanical repairs.
INTERIOR
The interior has been completely renewed and preserved in excellent condition, fully reflecting the sporty and elegant character of the Classic version.
