"Goldorak 50th Anniversary - Street Ed" unique artwork – B&W Ed
With this piece, SKE pays homage to Goldorak, the mythical figure of Japanese animation and a true generational icon. Born in the imagination of the 70s and becoming a cult for several generations, Goldorak remains associated with an entire universe: Actarus, Euphor, Vega, the Golgoths, the Fulguropoing, the Astérohache, the Cornofulgure, the Spacecraft, the Space Research Center, and the struggle between Earth and extraterrestrial forces.
This composition celebrates Goldorak’s 50th anniversary, 1975–2025, blending Japanese aesthetics, calligraphy, vintage manga codes, and the energy of contemporary street art. Mount Fuji, vertical writings, golden splashes, and spray effects give the work a dimension that is ceremonial, pop, and urban at once.
SKE revisits here one of the most powerful symbols of Franco-Japanese popular culture. The robot appears as a monumental, almost sacred figure, between childhood memory, commemorative poster, and contemporary pop icon. The drips, textures, and painterly gesture provide a modern reading faithful to the artist’s street/pop universe.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a French self-taught, versatile artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring the majority of his artworks.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an outstanding year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, solidifying his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend in recent years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture plays characterize a now-inescapable style.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line reflects the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversiveness of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to remix the Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetics akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the mythical Game Boy to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), via Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured surfaces sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy finish or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your space.
