Description from the seller

Russian Orthodox icon of the family-protecting saints, probably from the late 18th or 19th century.

At the top, within the small arched pediment, Christ is depicted blessing.

From left to right, the figures represented would be:

Saint Boniface (Вонифатий, Bonifati)
Shown as a young martyr with a long tunic and a cross in his hand.
Saint Nifont or Nifon (Нифонт, Nifont)
A monk and bishop venerated in Orthodox tradition, dressed in monastic habit.
Saint Moses (Моисей, Moiséi)
Also depicted as a monk. It could be one of the Russian monastic saints named Moses.
Saint Photina (Фотина, Fotina)
Traditionally identified with the Samaritan woman from the Gospel of John, recognizable by her white veil.

School: provincial Russian.
Technique: egg tempera on panel prepared with levkas.
