Beloved as a portrait lens, it combines a useful fast aperture with classic Nikkor sharpness and pleasing out-of-focus rendering in a remarkably small body. A favourite of film and mirrorless shooters alike (via the FTZ adapter).
Mount & Compatibility
This is a native Nikon F-mount Ai-S manual-focus lens, compatible with Nikon manual and autofocus film/digital bodies that accept Ai/Ai-S lenses (stop-down or full metering depending on body). On Nikon Z mirrorless it can be used via the FTZ adapter (manual focus).
