Old solid silver sugar tongs, French-made, dating probably from the late 19th or early 20th century.
It is stamped with Minerva, French guarantee mark for solid silver.
There is also a maker's mark in a diamond shape, partially legible in the photos.
Very pretty decoration in the Louis XV / Rococo style, with floral motifs, knots, oval cartouches, fluting and ends finished in claw-like shapes.
Lovely workmanship, an elegant and decorative object for a silverware collection or tableware.

Belle pince à sucre ancienne en argent massif, de fabrication française, datant probablement de la fin du XIXe ou du début du XXe siècle.
Elle est poinçonnée à la Minerve, garantie française de l’argent massif.
Présence également d’un poinçon de maître en losange, partiellement lisible sur les photos.
Très joli décor de style Louis XV / rocaille, avec motifs floraux, nœuds, cartouches ovales, cannelures et extrémités travaillées en forme de griffes/coquilles.
Belle qualité de travail, objet élégant et décoratif pour collection d’argenterie ou art de la table.
