This object is an authentic Frechen stoneware jug, dating from the 16th century (circa 1575–1600). This type of pottery was produced in the German town of Frechen.

Dimensions:

- height: 18.4 cm
- diameter: 12.8 cm
- neck diameter: approx. 6.2 cm
- foot diameter: approx. 7.4 cm

Condition: minimally restored (see photos)

- the neck has been repaired (small chip in the rim)
- the handle has been repaired (small chips on both sides)
