Antique French brass oil lamp from the early 20th century. The lamp features Victorian-style characteristics with detailed foliate motifs and relief. Such lamp bases were often retrofitted from oil to operate on electricity. At the bottom, marked Bec a litre breveté (patented burner). Size H 27 cm × W 14 cm × D 14 cm.

Solche Lampenfüße wurden häufig nachträglich von Öl auf elektrischen Betrieb umgerüstet. Am Boden mit Bec a litre brevete ( patentierter Brenner) gekennzeichnet. Größe H 27cm ×B 14cm ×T 14cm.
