Serving tray - Wood - Two antique serving trays

Authentic set of two oval wooden trays from Northern Europe (probably Scandinavia or the Netherlands), dating from the mid-20th century (ca. 1940-1965).

The trays feature a curved, dark-stained raised edge and integrated handles. The combination of the warm wood colour, simple design and handcrafted construction gives these pieces a timeless look that fits beautifully with vintage, Scandinavian, and country interiors.

The underside shows a traditional construction where the raised edge is fastened to the base with small nails, a detail that points to artisanal manufacture. Through years of use the trays have developed a beautiful natural patina that enhances their character and authenticity.

Both decorative and functional, for example as a serving board, table accessory, or presentation tray.

In good vintage condition with normal wear consistent with age and use. Wear to the finish, light scratches, discolorations and signs of use to the edges. No significant damage affecting use. Please view the photos carefully; they are an integral part of the description.
