Splendid and rare foldable multi-game box (compendium), a refined example of high Italian cabinetmaking dating to the period around the late 1800s to early 1900s. The set, magnificently preserved, offers the possibility to play three great classics: Chess, Checkers, and Backgammon (Tric-Trac).
Structure and artistic workmanship:
External (Chessboard and Checkers): The exterior features a finely crafted chessboard with a mosaic of walnut inlays in warm, contrasting tones, framed by a double geometric inlay.
