Impressive mortality plate with two trilobites of the genus Asaphus, completely natural and exceptionally well preserved. This type of piece, where several specimens are fossilized together, is highly valued for its scientific and aesthetic merit, as it captures a real moment from the Ordovician marine past.
Each trilobite, 4–5 cm, preserves a clear morphology, with cephalon, thorax and pygidium well defined. The plate, 18 cm, shows a stable and homogeneous matrix that enhances the presence of both specimens.
