Description from the seller
Yamato Pax Junior 35mm Camera
The Yamato Pax Junior is a charming and compact 35mm viewfinder camera from the 1950s, produced by the Japanese Yamato Kōki Kōgyō company. The Pax series is known for its excellent build quality relative to the price range of that era. The 'Junior' model is a minimalist, purely mechanical version that at the time was intended as an accessible, rugged camera for the enthusiastic amateur. With its elegant two-tone metal finish and the bright Luminor lens, this model offers a pure, analog experience without frills. It is a beautiful, compact collectible for those who appreciate mid-1950s Japanese aesthetics.

Optical: The lens is clear. There is minimal dust in the optics, which is normal for a camera of this age and does not affect operation. The viewfinder is clear and provides a good view of the subject.
Mechanical: The shutter works and clicks audibly at the various speeds. The adjustment rings (focus and aperture) turn smoothly. The film advance knob functions as it should.
