A wooden Canterbury-style Victorian antique newspaper rack from the United Kingdom, dating to c. 1930–1940, with stepped compartments, in brown wood, measuring 52 cm high by 43 cm wide by 27 cm deep and weighing 4 kg, in excellent condition.

An antique wooden newspaper rack (also known as a magazine rack or lectuurbak) in the "Canterbury" style is shown, made with turned legs and dividing rods.
Key features
Design: Its special feature is the stepped arrangement, where the compartments are located on different levels (storeys), so that the newspapers, magazines or books stored inside are easy to see.
Style: Victorian-inspired, traditional European lathe craftsmanship (so-called cottage style).
Material: Typically made of solid oak, walnut or mahogany.
Age: Pieces of this type of furniture most often date from the late 19th century or mid-20th century (for example, the 1950s).
It is in absolutely good condition, a nice, delicate piece.
