Description from the seller

An opportunity to acquire a rare well-preserved bottle of Duquesne Rhum, Vieux Agricole 10 Ans d'Âge.

It was produced in Martinique, an overseas department of France. Because Martinique is politically part of the French Republic, this spirit is regulated under strict French and European Union spirits legislation.
(Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (A.O.C.) certified spirit) As such this traditional Rhum Agricole was distilled from fresh sugarcane juice.
The spirit has been aged for a minimum period of 10 years in oak casks, classifying it under the "Hors d'Âge" category.

The brand Duquesne has historical roots in Martinique dating back to the 19th century, with its production historically linked to the Sainte-Luce and later the Trois-Rivières and La Mauny production lines.
This vintage bottle was bottled in "Santa Luce", the old distillery.

Bottling Period: 1999 (please see labels for details)
Bottle/Fill Level: High-shoulder / top-shoulder fill line.
Label: Front and back labels are fully intact, clean, and completely legible. Only a tiny tear in the
bottom side of the front label. (see picture)
Capsule / Seal: Original metal screw cap with original tax/neck paper strip intact. No signs of evaporation or
leaking.
Storage: Kept in a climate-controlled, dark cellar environment.

A well-preserved, tax-sealed example of historical French-Caribbean distilling, ideal for collectors of vintage agricultural rums
