Description from the seller

Extraordinary and rare pair of antique bronze-gilt candlesticks, intricately chiselled and richly decorated with regal motifs, adorned with oval porcelain reserves in the blue-background, polychrome Sèvres style with floral motifs and pearled parts typical of 18th-century French style.
The base has three feet depicting bronze lions.
The candlesticks feature extraordinary gilding and present a natural patina of time that makes them exceptional.
There are small missing ceramic parts on the shaft in both pieces and some glueing as would be expected from imperceptible “veining” of the porcelain. (Please study the photos carefully)
These are very delicate pieces that have borne some signs of time; given their originality, we preferred not to treat them so that the buyer may restore them if desired.
Despite this, they are unmatched antique pieces with a notable visual impact due to the richness of the bronze work and, above all, the bright and vivid colors of the porcelain.
Congratulations to the winner of this rare auction.
