Description from the seller

Nice and fairly rare LaserDisc/CD player from Pioneer CLD-D390

LaserDisc (LD) is an analog optical video format from the late 1970s, developed by Philips and Pioneer. It was the forerunner of the DVD, with 30 cm (12 inch) silver discs that resemble vinyl LPs in size.

Here are the main features of LaserDisc:

Technology: Analog video and audio signals stored as pits on a reflective disc, read by a laser.
Picture quality: Better than VHS and Betamax, comparable to DVDs.
Format: 12-inch diameter, similar in size to a vinyl record.

A CDV player (CD Video player) is designed to play "CD Video" discs. These discs, often 5 inches in size, contain 20 minutes of digital audio and 5 minutes of analog LaserDisc video.

Features of a CDV player:
Function: Plays CD Video (CDV) discs (gold-colored CDs with video).
Technique: Uses LaserDisc technology to process both video and audio.

In addition, it can also play regular CDs

Works fine.

Dimensions: 420x405x132 mm
Weight: 6.6 kg
