Up for auction is a magnificent piece of Japanese audio history: the Akai AM-2600 integrated stereo amplifier. This particular unit was manufactured in September 1978 (verified by serial number 30940-09320) during the Golden Age of Hi-Fi. It has undergone a professional, no-frills restoration (reconditioned and serviced), bringing it back to factory specifications. It is ready to deliver its warm, powerful vintage sound for many years to come.

Full Review: All old and out-of-tolerance electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new, high-quality audio capacitors, preserving the original sonic signature.
Deep Clean & De-Oxidation: All potentiometers, switches and tone controls have been chemically cleaned and lubricated. No noise, scratches, or signal drops.
Factory Calibration: Bias current and DC offset have been meticulously adjusted, strictly according to the official Akai service manual.
Illumination: All VU meter lamps and indicator bulbs have been checked and are working perfectly, giving off that warm and iconic vintage glow.
