The Pioneer A-8800X is a top-of-the-line integrated amplifier produced in 1979 exclusively for the Japanese domestic market (JDM).

Unlike the Western SA series, this model targets purist audio enthusiasts: it forgoes colored displays to concentrate all build quality on sound purity, introducing a superior internal architecture and a native high-end dual MM/MC phono stage.

Before listing, the amplifier was fully serviced, calibrated, and internally cleaned by a specialized technician.
