This beautiful typewriter or vintage typewriter is made by Mercedes Büromaschinen Werke A.G., Zella-Mehlis in Thuringia

This is a splendid vintage typewriter in generally good used condition (not tested).
Nice specimen with black lacquer and very nice vintage keys.

Mercedes-Bureau-Maschinen G.m.b.H was founded in Berlin in 1906 by Gustav Mez under the brand name taken over from Daimler-Motorenwerke. Two years later the company moved to Mehlis.

The production of typewriters and calculating machines began in a new factory building near Zella-Mehlis West train station.

Mooi exemplaar met zwarte lak en hele mooie vintage knoppen.

Mercedes-Bureau-maschinen G.m.b.H werd in 1906 in Berlijn opgericht door Gustav Mez onder de merknaam overgenomen van Daimler-Motorenwerke. Twee jaar later verhuisde het bedrijf naar Mehlis.
