Vintage Philips B4F80A vacuum tube radio, produced by the French division of the company (Philips France; Paris) circa 1958.The device is designed in the aesthetics of the late 1950s. The case is made of plywood with a satin lacquer finish. The front panel is completely plastic with a wide cream-colored speaker grille, and the tuning scale has a characteristic gold background. Tube circuit: The radio is assembled with 5 radio tubes of the following types: ECH81, EBF80, ECL82, EZ80, EM81. "Magic eye": In the upper left corner of the grille is a rectangular window of the optical tuning indicator (EM81 indicator tube). Controls: Twin knobs on the sides allow you to adjust the volume, tone quality, and frequency. A push-button panel for switching frequency ranges is located at the bottom in the center.GO - long waves, PO - medium waves, and two shortwave rang.
The receiver turns on, all the lights are on, but it is not connected to the antenna.
