Description from the seller
Crests attached to the Italian magazine "Il Corriere dei Piccoli" from 1972
Enamelled and embossed aluminum material
In 1972, the legendary Corrierino dei Piccoli attached a very famous summer special. It was the renowned set of stickers and emblems for cars (also known as adhesive badges), designed to be applied on car windows or on the bodywork.
This kind of gadget was part of a series of promotional initiatives that the newspaper launched during the summer months, often linked to the world of motors or to collectible sticker albums such as "Auto di tutto il mondo".
The Corriere dei Piccoli, also known as Corrierino or CdP, was the first Italian weekly comic magazine, published from 1908 to 1995 for over 4,500 issues divided into 88 volumes.
It introduced American comics to Italy as well as publishing Italian authors, presenting leading narrators and poets; the editor-in-chief’s editorial in the magazine’s first issue is considered the founding manifesto of Italian comics.
