Up for auction is a pair of Italian wall sconces dating from 1940–1950, echoing Baroque and Rococo styles thanks to the curved and jagged leaves that compose the entire structure. The lines are sinuous, flowing, and seem to be in motion, typical of 18th-century aesthetics.
The main shaft wraps around itself like a natural branch, imitating the shapes of wild nature (Rocaille style).
They are presented in excellent condition, free of any defects.
Electrical installation in place to allow use.

In asta una coppia di applique italiane databili 1940-1950 ricalcanti lo stile barocco e rococò grazie alle foglie ricurve e frastagliate che ne compongono l’Intera struttura. Le linee sono sinuose, fluide e sembrano in movimento, tipiche dell'estetica del Settecento. 
Il fusto principale si avvolge su se stesso come un ramo naturale, imitando le forme della natura selvaggia (stile Rocaille).
Si presentano in eccellente stato conservativo prive di alcun difetto.
Predisposto impianto elettrico per poterle usare.
