Large French travel wardrobe trunk manufactured by Établissements Bazille in Laval.
Structure in wood covered with grey coated canvas with riveted metal reinforcements and a leather handle.
Its interior retains the original layout, including a clothes rail, securing straps, and two removable drawers.
Intended for long journeys, this trunk allowed transporting clothing and personal effects without wrinkling them.
A witness to the golden age of rail travel and the great migrations of the 1930s, it now shows a beautiful patina of use that enhances its decorative appeal.
