Decorative tray - Napoleon III style

Elegant French decorative tray from the Napoleon III period, dating to circa 1870–1880. Crafted with a finely cast bronze frame richly adorned with colourful champlevé enamel floral decoration and fitted with a natural onyx top. The scrolling handles and refined ornamentation reflect the luxurious decorative arts of the late 19th century. Raised on four small feet, the tray was intended as an elegant centrepiece or vanity accessory. The onyx surface has an old stable crack, clearly visible in the photographs, consistent with age. A highly decorative and collectible example of French Belle Époque craftsmanship.
