Bronica Tilt-Shift bellows for use with Bronica 6x6 cameras from the S2 / EC series.
A Bronica "Tilt and Shift" bellows in fine vintage condition. Light signs of use. Bellows intact and smooth movements. Fits any Bronica 6x6 kit, such as the S2a.
Obviously the camera shown in the photos is NOT included in this lot. That camera is sold separately.
A peculiarity is that the bellows belonged to a camera set that belonged to the well-known photographer Eddy van Wessel. During his studies at the Dutch Photography School, Eddy used a Zenza Bronica ET-CL Pro camera with various lenses. After his studies he sold the set. Proof of original ownership is a small handwritten note describing the set at the time of sale (for the photo in this lot some personal data has been removed; the original still contains it). A special collector’s item with proof of ownership.
War photographer Eddy van Wessel has won the Silver Camera four times. The last time was in 2022 with a photo series about IS families fleeing in Syria. And much more recently in the war in Ukraine. As a photographer, Eddy van Wessel (1965) works in various conflict and disaster areas. His photos are published in international magazines such as Stern, Paris Match, Le Monde2 and The Washington Post Magazine. He won the Silver Camera in 2015 for his series 'Sinjar, the battle for Highway 47'. These photos depict the fight against IS in Iraq and Syria. Eddy also won the Silver Camera in 2012. The jury of this prestigious prize notes Van Wessel’s work as being of an unprecedented level.
