The development history, from gatekeeper clocks, clocks for home use, tower clocks and specialized precise timekeeping clocks for various scientific and societal purposes.
Extensively, various types of clocks are discussed as well as their origins regionally as well as nationally. Techniques, falsifications, materials, restorations, names of clockmakers, etc. pass review. Photos are part of the description.
