Rare Vintage Lipstick Case in 800 Silver – Italian Manufacture (Pre-1950)
Fascinating pocket lipstick case in 800 silver created in Italy in the first half of the twentieth century. Unlike the more common models decorated with the classic floral motifs, this specimen stands out for a geometric, linear design with a modernist taste.
The main body features a satin-brushed finish, completed on the cap by a refined turquoise cabochon.
The interior is equipped with the original vertical sliding mechanism, still perfectly functional, and includes the compartment for the lipstick.
800 silver (hallmark present), made in Italy before 1950 (the type of hallmark suggests production in the 1930s or 1940s)
