Beautiful Collection of Three Natural Amethyst Specimens
A beautiful and decorative collection of three natural amethyst specimens, offered together as one lot.
Dimensions and Weight, from smallest to largest:
• 7.5 × 6.2 × 6.2 cm — 311 g
• 7.5 × 7.8 × 5.8 cm — 418 g
• 8.8 × 8.3 × 7.7 cm — 600 g
Total weight: 1,329 g
Each piece has its own individual character, with attractive crystal formations and lovely variations in violet colour. Together, the three specimens make a striking and harmonious display, while each piece is equally interesting when viewed on its own.
One of the particularly fascinating features of these specimens can be seen when they are viewed from the sides and from the back. Here, the natural structure surrounding the crystal cavities is visible, including contrasting bands and agate layers. These areas offer an interesting glimpse into how an amethyst geode is naturally built up around its crystalline interior.
The transition from the outer rock and layered agate into the sparkling amethyst crystals makes the specimens interesting from several angles – not only as decorative objects, but also as examples of natural mineral formation.
The natural differences in shape, crystal structure and colour give each specimen a unique appearance. The photographs include views of the complete collection as well as individual and detailed views, including the sides and backs of the specimens.
All specimens have been photographed in natural daylight in order to give the most realistic possible impression of their colours and natural appearance. Please note that colours may nevertheless appear slightly different depending on the screen or device used.
