Description from the seller
A highly collectible two-bottle lot featuring Satyricon 2020 by Luigi Tecce, one of the most respected interpreters of Aglianico from the Irpinia region of Campania.
This lot includes bottle no. 3872 and bottle no. 3873, from a limited production of only 7,000 individually numbered bottles, making it particularly attractive to collectors and enthusiasts of artisanal Italian wines.
Producer: Luigi Tecce
Vintage: 2020
Grape Variety: 100% Aglianico
Format: 75 cl each
ABV: Approximately 14%
Satyricon is widely regarded as a natural wine, produced with a philosophy of minimal intervention both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The wine is made without filtration, without selected yeasts, without added enzymes, without malolactic bacteria inoculation, without added tannins, without deacidification treatments, without fining agents, and without the use of gum arabic. Fermentation and evolution are allowed to proceed as naturally as possible, preserving the character of the vintage and the terroir.
The aromatic profile is intense and authentic, with notes of black cherry, wild blackberry, violet, Mediterranean herbs and earthy undertones. On the palate, it is vibrant and structured, combining fresh acidity, firm tannins and remarkable depth. Layers of dark fruit, spice and mineral nuances unfold progressively, leading to a long, savory and persistent finish.
A rare opportunity to acquire two consecutive numbered bottles of one of Southern Italy’s most sought-after natural wines, produced according to a rigorous low-intervention philosophy and expressing the pure identity of Aglianico and the Irpinian terroir.
