Description from the seller
Large pendant lamp in mouth-blown white opal glass, Italy, 1970s
Made in white opal glass, mouth-blown, with a single large sculptural body characterized by a central cylinder linked to a broad toroidal element. The lower diffuser in opal glass provides a soft, even light, while the satin-finished metal collar enhances the elegance of the design.
The quality of the glass, the construction technique, and the assembly details are attributable to Mazzega production of the period, famous for its collaborations with the leading designers of Murano glass.
The lamp fully embodies the Italian Space Age / Mid-Century Modern aesthetic of the 1970s.
Very good condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with age. Working electrical system.
