Silver 800 liturgical chalice – Europe – 19th century (1800)

Ancient liturgical chalice of French origin, made in 800 silver, dating to the 19th century. The piece features elegant and refined workmanship typical of ecclesiastical silverware of the period.

The cup is gilded inside, a traditional feature of liturgical chalices to protect the consecrated wine. The lower part of the cup is embellished with pierced and chased decoration with stylized ornamental motifs.

The stem with a central knot is finely worked and allows a secure grip during liturgical use. The broad, decorated base bears engravings with geometric and floral motifs, giving the chalice a solemn and elegant appearance.

Authentic object of French sacred art from the 19th century, ideal for collectors, antiquarians or enthusiasts of liturgical objects.
