Neo-Renaissance armchair from Belgium in massief oak, with carved arms and openwork frieze, upholstered in decorative gobelin fabric, dating from ca. 1880–1930 and measuring 115 cm high, 65 cm wide and 67 cm deep, in good used condition.

Neo-Renaissance armchair / Flemish armchair in solid oak – Belgium – ca. 1900
Elegant and richly worked armchair in Flemish Neo-Renaissance / Neo-Baroque style, presumably produced in Belgium around the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century.
The chair is made of what is likely solid oak and features finely carved armrests, a decorative lower rail with openwork carving, and turned connecting posts. The warm patina and artisanal finish give the piece a characterful and authentic appearance.
Upholstered with decorative gobelin/tapestry fabric with classic floral motifs in rich colors. The upholstery aesthetically complements the historical style of the furniture.
Condition
Good antique used condition with normal signs of age and wear:
• stable construction
• slight wear appropriate to age
• bottom with traditional singel construction
• some singels show aging and sagging
• beautiful natural patina on the woodwork
