Description from the seller

Antique adjustable piano stool from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1850–1880). Made in solid wood, probably walnut or mahogany, with four nicely turned legs, a central column and an original screw spindle by which the seat height is adjustable.

The stool features an elegant round seat and a sturdy base with curved rails and sabre-shaped feet, characteristic of the period. A decorative yet functional piece of furniture that fits exceptionally well in a classic interior or with an antique piano.

The screw construction is complete and the height adjustment functions.
