Since early 2007, Karlyn De Jongh has collected questions for On Kawara from people who know the artist or his work well, creating a collection of 79 inquiries from around the world. Despite numerous attempts to present these questions to On Kawara—trying to meet him in New York, sending him postcards with the questions, and reaching out to some of his closest friends— as of today the questions remain unanswered.
