Mackenstein Fieldcamera 27 x21 cm **verlaagde RP** Large format camera

The H. Mackenstein Chambre photographique de voyage (reiscamera) is a high-quality, folding wooden plate camera. The camera was built around the turn of the century (c. 1885–1914) by the renowned French maker Hermann-Josef Mackenstein in Paris. These travel cameras were known for their exquisite precision, high-quality woodwork, and sophisticated ergonomics.

Camera type: Plate format 21 x 27 cm, a professional standard for landscape and architectural photography of the time. The shutter works but the cloth is wrinkled. The camera has come into my possession without a lens (unfortunately).

Nevertheless, a very desirable camera.
