This fascinating sphere of Chevron Amethyst shows an impressive combination of deep purple, almost black-looking zones and delicate white quartz veins that wind through the rock in the characteristic chevron shape. The striking V-shaped bands arise from the natural intergrowth of amethyst with milky quartz and create an exciting interplay of light and color.
The polished surface intensifies the patterning and gives the sphere a smooth, almost glassy shine. Depending on the incidence of light, the structures sometimes flow softly into one another, other times appear crystalline and clearly defined. An extraordinary collectible with meditative depth and optical refinement.
