Silver commemorative coin of 100 Schilling dedicated to the bicentennial of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's death. The obverse depicts the composer playing the violin alongside a young musician at the harpsichord, in a composition of great elegance inspired by classical iconography of the 18th century and executed with fine detailing. The reverse shows a view of Salzburg's historic center with the Salzburg Cathedral in the foreground and the Hohensalzburg Fortress in the background, a symbol of Mozart's birthplace. Minted in Proof quality, the specimen features intense mirrored fields contrasting with completely matte reliefs, achieving an extraordinary Ultra Cameo effect. The condition is outstanding, in line with the PF68 Ultra Cameo grade certified by CAG, with surfaces practically flawless and excellent visual appeal.
