Elegant French lounge chair from the second half of the 19th century, executed in the Louis Philippe style.

The chair is made of walnut (or comparable hardwood with walnut finish) and features a richly carved crest, graceful armrests and turned legs.

Both the seat and the backrest are equipped with original hand-woven cane, giving the chair a refined and authentic appearance. The wood has a warm, patina developed over the years.

The chair is in good antique condition. There are a few old, professionally executed restorations and signs of use, consistent with a piece of furniture about 150 years old. The construction is sturdy and the chair is ready to use.
